Randomizing your content and questions is a great way to remove bias from your results.
It's really easy to do this in Loops. Simply build your survey and follow the steps below.
How to apply randomization
By default, each group, question or focus area will not be set to randomize. The randomize button will be grey when inactivated, as seen below.
When the randomizing is activated, the button will be purple.
You can randomize on a group level and on a question level:
Randomizing on a group level means that the groups selected will be randomized between each other but the questions within the groups will remain in the same order. To randomize a group, click the randomize button on the right side of the group (next to the 'Add question' button). You'll know when randomizing is active when the button turns purple:
Randomizing on a question level means that the questions selected will be randomized between each other within the group. To randomize an individual question or focus area, select the randomize button on the right side of the question:
You can randomize on a group level and a questions level at the same time, which means that the groups will randomize amongst each other and the individual questions and/or focus areas within the groups will also randomize amongst each other.
